The Optimum Physician Alliance (OPA) Program Coordinator will work under the immediate supervision of the medical director and supports OPA senior management team, in the development and deployment of initiatives and programs throughout the OPA organization. Ensures streamlined activities within the organization based on established priorities and contributes to the long-term success of the organization.
Coordinates communications, functions and attends meetings between the various divisions within OPA as well as medical practices and OPA partners. Manages new and ongoing projects, creates and tracks action plans to support projects within the various divisions. Provides support to decision-makers. Provides professional level support for strategic initiatives. Conducts research, of the available literature, to determine a global perspective on local initiatives by subcommittee outreach. Prepares documents for review and action. Coordinates “medical strategy” with communications, physician advisor, PCMH and other practice support divisions. Manages the development of communications, policies and other documents. Interprets high-level observations, requests, and insights and breaks those down into identifiable and measurable steps which will translate high-level observations into practical compliments. Efficiently manages all assigned projects and responsibilities, diligently follows up and monitors outstanding issues, guides, expedites and coordinates various duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.

In Business, Marketing or Healthcare related. Minimum of 3 years experience in a provider office setting or outward-facing healthcare role required. Previous medically related experiences or degree preferred. Project management skills preferred.
