Great Lakes Integrated Network (GLIN), an affiliate of Kaleida Health and Erie County Medical Center Corporation, is a Buffalo-based, physician-led independent physicians association (IPA) consisting of approximately 600 physicians in the areas of primary and specialty care. The mission of GLIN is to transform the healthcare experience in Western New York, promoting high-quality, equitable, and efficient healthcare through innovation and collaboration. With a focus on the efficient delivery of Primary Care and other specialty care, GLIN builds collaboration, quality, efficiency, and value into a dynamic healthcare delivery system.

GLIN is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial accounting function, ensuring that financial statements are prepared timely, accurately, and efficiently.  

 Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

 

  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Create variance analysis reports and financial models
  • Lead real-time financial performance monitoring
  • Escalate any financial issues to management
  • Set and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for investments
  • Assist in the monthly close procedures to achieve a timely and efficient process
  • Provide financial analysis as requested
  • Oversee the daily/weekly cash transactions, wire transfers, and monthly reconciliations
  • Liaise with parent companies’ accounting teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: Baccalaureate degree in accounting
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting work in a corporate setting
     

 Knowledge and Skills:
